LPG benefit - stolen by central govt ?

LPG - govt cheated consumers ?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his ministers claim that DBTL scheme for LPG consumers had saved around rs.22,000 crores to the Central government. But CAG has found out that this scheme has saved only rs.2,000 crores. Rest of the amount is saved due to the drop in global prices. During 205-16 LPG import has gone up - to  8,885 thousand metric tonnes. It was 8,313 (TMT) in 2014-15. Still   India saw the value of its LPG imports drop from Rs 36,571 crore in 2014-15 to a projected Rs 25,626 crore in 2015-16. That is a saving of Rs 10,945 crore in just a year.

What does this mean ? Government has not passed on the benefit of around rs.20,000 crores to the consumers in 2 years. When petrol rates were decreasing, government has not passed on the entir benefit to consumers. It went on increasing excise duty in instalments of 2%. So, instead of people getting the benefit, govet reaped the benefits. But in LPG the entire benefit is being reaped by the government. Why not the government transfer the benefit of rate reduction to consumers ?

6 Neem sticks cost rs.535 now

Neem sticks in packets for sale

This is in USA

We, Indians were using neem sticks as our natural tooth brush. Foreign companies came and discouraged us from using neem sticks, salt, fire wood coal etc and sold their tooth pastes. Now they ask us, whether our tooth paste has salt and neem. So they have no other way to turn back to our basics. Also they are marketing our neem sticks in USA. Packet of 6 sticks cost 8 dollars. approximately rs. 520. Cost of single stick - around rs.85. It is available free in our country. They discouraged us and make money there. Understand who is wise and who is not ?

Health alert - beware of Gym

Gym equipment dirtier than toilet seat

Women health magazine has published a report on the experiments done in gyms.
The experts had examined bacterial samples taken from 27 common pieces of workout equipment at large chains around the country.

According to the report, our sweat accessories are actually way have more germs  than some of the gross surfaces we come into contact with everyday.
1.       An exercise bike has 39 times more bacteria than a plastic cafeteria tray and the treadmill has 79 times more bacteria than a water faucet.
2.       Your favorite 15-pounders for bicep curls,  had 362 times  more bacteria than a toilet seat.
3.      So why are weights so important ? Most of us are fairly good at wiping down cardi machines before and after we use them. But there are  chances for  you probably aren’t as diligent about bringing those antibacterial wipes around with you while doing a weights circuit.

4.       Since it’s not possible to keep watch on who’s wiping down what at the gym, avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth until you can hit the showers. Because you really don't want to contract any diseases

July 17 News. Setback to BJP in Arunachal

Setback to BJP again - now it is Arunachal Pradesh

In a major set back to BJP in Arunachal Pradesh, Congress has managed to convince the rebel group MLAs and ensured majority in the assembly. When Supreme Court has quashed President's rule in the State on July 13, Nabam Tuki was reinstated as the Chief Minister on the evening of same day. But the governor has asked Tuki to prove his majority in the assembly on Saturday, July 16. There was not much time and BJP expected to topple Tuki's government. However, hours before the scheduled test, he resigned and the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) chose Khandu to be its new leader.
Since the rebel team's main demand was to change Tuki, they accepted this proposal and came back to congress fold with 30 dissident legislators.
So, in the 60 member assembly Congress has support of 47 legislators, including 2 independents.
Once again it is a set back to BJP after its experience  in Uttarkand State in May 2016.
